Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American who was born in Miami Florida. She is half English, the other half Spanish. Parents include Dennis Alan Taylor an ex-banker and Jennifer Marina Joy psychologist. Her father is an Argentine of Scottish and English descendance. Her mother is Spanish and has English roots. Taylor Joy has four siblings, one at each one of their parents' prior marriages. They were originally of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria at the age of 6 when Taylor-Joy was born. Taylor-Joy claims that the move into London was difficult and that she was unable to take the time to learn English to avoid moving back to Argentina. Hill House became her school of choice after Taylor-Joy was ordered to move schools. Then, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School to study dance and perform in the school's productions. When she was 16 she quit school in order to pursue a full-time career in acting. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy had a dream to be an actor and her dream came true after she was offered a modeling job by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
