Kelly Clarkson (American singer/songwriter) is a well-known American following her win on American Idol's debut season. It brought her to notoriety and led to the contract of RCA Records 19 Recordings, along with 'S Recordings. From her first appearance in the series, she has released a number of albums. Three of those albums reached number one on the US Billboard 200. The other albums were also close to the top spot. Her name is among America's top performers. To achieve her success, she tried out different genres of music and experimented with subjects. Due to her distinctiveness and talent in the field of singing and songwriter, she received praise from critics and won a few prestigious prizes. She's been honored with the Grammy Award 3 times. Apart from her professional career in music, she's also appeared on television and film. She is also the author of her children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved with various charities.
