Lisa Edelstein was an American actor who gained notoriety as the actress who starred in Fox's House medical drama. Her family was from Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. When she was 18 she moved into New York City to study at the Tisch School for the Arts. Her performance quickly made her a part of the club scene in New York. Her shows were so good that even local media took notice. Then, she used her experiences and her fame in order to compose and write the musical called Positive Me, and she also starred. Awake to the Wild Side, a show that she was host for MTV was soon her task. When the show was over, she started appearing in the film and television industry, initially in smaller parts, but gradually establishing her acting career.
