Aahoo Jansouzshahi (10 January 1980), better known as Sarah Shahi, an American model and actress. She was the character Carmen on The L Word, Kate Reed on USA Network's legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw in CBS the crime drama Person of Interest(2012-2016). Also, she played the character of Det. Dani Reese is a character in the show Life[3] as well as Alias. [4] In 2018, she appeared in the show Reverie. In 2019, she appeared in a recurring role in City on a Hill on Showtime[5] and appeared in seven episodes of The Rookie as romantic interest Jessica Russo While working as an extra on the production of Dr. T and the Women in Texas, Shahi met director Robert Altman, who encouraged her to relocate to Hollywood which is where she landed parts in various shows such as Alias, Dawson's Creek, Reba, and Supernatural. She played the second season's supporting role for DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales as seen on The L Word in 2005. Shahi's two year contract was not renewed following the end of the fourth season. She was also dismissed.
